English speaking IT EHS Contract role - REMOTE!

My customer is currently looking for an English speaking EHS IT Consultant for IT application services for non-SAP systems. The role can be completed mainly remotely but may require some travel to Vienna.

IT EHS Consultant (nonSAP) - Role Overview

This role is responsible for delivering and maintaining IT application services within the EHS domain. Given the team's current workload, the consultant will play a dual role, supporting ongoing projects while handling operational tasks to ensure smooth system performance.

This individual must have prior exposure to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes.

Key responsibilities:

Act as an extension of the internal IT team, supporting both projects and operational tasks, including issue resolution and escalation, to free up internal resources.

Maintain and optimize EHS IT applications, handling troubleshooting, minor enhancements, and process improvements.

Assist with vulnerability management, networking fundamentals, and database Scripting (SQL) to improve system reliability and security.

Ensure comprehensive project documentation during closing and implementation phases

RAP (Electronic working permits), Synergi (risk management), IUCLID, Chesar, Pha Pro (Hazop)
