The company:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a purpose-built design and engineering premises for chemical manufacturing feeding into a wide range of industries. Due to continuous growth and expansion of the premises as well as a strong line of upcoming projects, the company is now seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their team.
The role of the Project Manager will be a versatile and fast-paced role overseeing full project lifecycles from initial customer/client contact through to project delivery.

Job responsibilities:

Managing all different types of projects, from large-scale long-term projects through to smaller-based work.

Meet overall project objectives for quality, delivery and cost

Manage & resolve key project risks & issues

Work alongside various areas of the business from the sales team, design team and the shop floor teams.

Corresponding with customers and suppliers on technical issues

This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.
Skills and Experience required:

Experience within a similar role, with a passion for project management within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.

Experience managing large scale projects with multiple points of contact, ideally across extended periods of time.

Engineering qualifications are highly desirable.

Excellent at building & maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders

Strong customer focus.
