Job Description
We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an Energy Team Leader (Swiss-German Speaking). This role is permanent position based in Luzern Canton & comes with some home office allowance.
Your Role:
- Hold responsibility for the strategic development & management of the electricity & natural gas energy procurement portfolios.
- Oversee the forecasts for production & sales, manage supply contracts & execute trading transactions.
- Monitor & control yield management.
- Lead & develop a team of two employees.
- Act as the first point of contact for energy industry issues.
- Monitor the production of energy consumption & take appropriate measures in the event of demand & supply fluctuations.
- Oversee the support, further development & digitization of the system landscape.
- Act as an interface between IT & the business.
- Advise finance & controlling departments on new solutions & ensure the smooth integration of finance with purchasing, logistics & sales.
- Develop solutions for efficient reporting in the record-to-report process, using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Embedded analytics for data-based decisions.
- Coordinate the use of external service providers.
Your Skills:
- A Commercial or Technical background with at least 5 years of professional experience in the Swiss Energy Industry, ideally including experience in electricity & natural gas trading.
- A solid knowledge of Risk Management or Financial Markets.
- Experienced in the optimization & digitization of processes.
- A good knowledge of Excel & Management Tools & Reports (Soptim, Siloveda).
- Well accustomed to dealing with Regulatory & Legal Requirements.
- Experienced in Project Management experience & Team Leadership.
Your Profile:
- Completed University Degree in Business Administration or a Technical field.
- Confident, communicative, analytical & conceptual.
- A native Swiss-German speaker & fluent in English (these are mandatory requirements).
