Job Title: Electronics Engineer

Salary: £50-70k pa
iO is looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineer to work with a leading supplier of technologies and turnkey subsea telecom solutions. Winning and keeping customers by the quality of their goods and services, which is improved by acting morally and cooperatively. Additionally, increased diversity and participation in sustainability will foster creative problem-solving.
The Electronics Engineer will be working with a variety of products that combine electronic and electro-optic technology is part of the job description.
Requirements:
- Digital electronics - microcontrollers, memory devices, FPGAs (VHDL, from specification through to verification), serial interfaces - SPI, I2C and Ethernet.
- Analogue electronics - op-amps, filters, DC-DC convertors, ADCs and DACs.
- Electro-Optics - Lasers, PINs, Modulators
- A graduate with three or more years of expertise in product development and related skills in the telecom industry would be a good fit for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Circuit design to deliver the functionality needed for a certain device.
- Utilising schematic tools to record circuit layouts
- PCB population, PCB manufacturing, and layout processes
- Creation of the necessary records
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication is essential for presenting new designs in formal product reviews and peer reviews.
