Job Description

We're looking for anElectrical Supervisor (AP) to join ourNatural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn TrentWater Framework working from a major site for us at Wanlip. In thisrole you'll focus on electrical Supervision and Control ofElectrical Isolation Works within the Wanlip WwTW.



Location: - Wanlip,Leicestershire.

Contract: Permanent- FullTime - flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired,just let us know

Responsibilities

As Electrical Supervisor,you'll be responsible for supervising and managing the operationalresources (people, and physical assets) in order to implement theplan for the assigned project safely, on time and to the requiredquality while maximising customers' satisfaction and the grossprofit.

Your day today will include:

  • Providingelectrical engineering expertise, establishing client requirementsand delivering the operation of engineering designsolutions.
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain andsupporting the contractor delivery and commissioningprocess.
  • Applying technical judgment andresourcefulness to the construction phase of theproject.
  • Providing support to contractorswithin the electrical discipline as well as ensuring companystandards in health & safety, environmental and quality arebeing met by the supply chain.
  • Supporting theimplementation and monitoring of Business Assurance Systems (BAS)policies and procedures and ensuring all labour, plant,materials and supply chain resources are accuratelyrecorded.

What are welooking for?

This role of ElectricalSupervisor is great for you if youhold:

  • A minimum City & GuildsNVQ Level 3 qualified and fully qualified electrician.
  • ECS (JIB) Gold Card holder.
  • Experience of carrying out Authorised Person dutiespreviously or currently being trained in the duties.
  • A good knowledge of motor control centres includingvariable speed 690V and 420V and good knowledge of control andinstrumentation cable installation.
  • Theability to read electrical designs and ensure installations meetapproved designs and identify when they don't.
