Job Description

Our client's Higher Education business delivers leading content and digital courseware to university leaders, educators, and students, supporting teaching and learning across a range of disciplines, including business, sciences, psychology, and law. They work closely with institutions to provide world-class products and services that meet both current and future learning needs.

This role plays a key part in driving growth by working closely with field sales colleagues to expand the adoption and usage of digital courseware. You will collaborate to identify opportunities within departments and accounts, supporting the transition to digital learning solutions and maximising their impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and define educator training needs based on learning outcomes and user experience through ongoing consultation and engagement
  • Develop, document, and implement customised training and support plans aligned with institutional goals and course requirements
  • Provide technical support during term time in collaboration with support teams to ensure a smooth user experience
  • Assess product usage through data analytics and usage reports, enabling teaching teams to make informed decisions
  • Schedule regular check-ins with customers and conduct evaluation meetings to review digital solution performance against learning objectives
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of internal sales coaching, including in-person and online training Identify opportunities for renewal, improvement, and retention, working with the territory team on a strategy
  • Support strategic planning and on-campus initiatives to encourage digital courseware adoption, including presentations for faculty and students
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital courseware and services
  • Record and update customer interactions in CRM systems, ensuring appropriate follow-ups Support pilot programmes and early adoption initiatives as needed
  • Encourage educators to provide feedback, case studies, and testimonials with support from marketing and product teams
  • Provide leads for faculty advisor programmes
  • Engage with relevant teaching and learning communities
  • Share market insights as required at sales, marketing, and customer success events.

Skills and experience required

  • Experience in sales with a track record of achieving targets
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Knowledge of learning technologies used in higher education
  • Good understanding of pedagogical principles
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across university management levels
  • Skilled in networking, relationship management, and influencing decision-making
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Organised and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to travel extensively (full driving licence required).
