Your new company
A London headquartered UK-based property company with a headcount of 500, is looking to invest in a quality candidate to enhance their Early Careers L&D remit,supporting their apprentices through to qualification in both a learning and mentorship capacity.
Your new role
Reporting into the L&D Director, you will take ownership of the apprentice cohort, currently sitting at around 50, forecasted to increase by 20 YOY. This role will involve the attraction and hiring piece, learning and development design and delivery, alongside internal and external stakeholder management.
Managing apprentice levy funds
Board-level internal stakeholder management
Managing external stakeholders such as universities and training providers
Leading on apprentice recruitment and strategy
Supporting apprentices through qualifications and chartership - managing the key professional training schemes
Management of collaboration projects, social value activity and apprentice development programmes
Supporting on wider L&D responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis
Evolve existing L&D and mentorship schemes
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with apprentices is an essential requirement for this role
Degree level education or equivalent, CIPD ideal but not essential
Experience in apprentice attraction and recruitment, with in depth knowledge of apprenticeship process
Strong stakeholder management and proven experience partnering with external stakeholders and training providers
You'll have monitored the learning and development of apprentices and graduates, supporting them through their qualification
Proven management of budgets/levy funds
Experience planning, reporting on and evaluating trainee reporting
Design and delivery of learning programmes and courses
Experience using LMS and IT competency
