Contract Type: Outside IR35
Rate: £550 - £600 per day
Duration: 6-12 months (with potential for extension)
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to office and client sites as needed)

Project Overview

We are seeking a Dynamics eCommerce Solution Architect with specialized expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Order Management to design and implement a headless eCommerce solution for our public sector clients. This role also involves enhancing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) capabilities to support the integration and automation of order management processes. The architect will provide strategic guidance and technical leadership, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure eCommerce implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • eCommerce Solution Architecture: Design and implement a headless eCommerce architecture using Microsoft Dynamics, focusing on optimizing order management processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Order Management Expertise: Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Dynamics Order Management, including setup, configuration, and customization to meet complex business requirements.
  • Enhancing F&O Capabilities: Lead the development and enhancement of Dynamics F&O capabilities within the organization, emphasizing eCommerce and order management integration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with public sector clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions meet specific client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Application Design and Customization: Develop and customize Microsoft Power Apps to extend eCommerce functionalities and improve user experiences.
  • Agile Delivery: Lead projects within an Agile framework, ensuring timely and effective delivery while aligning with client and organizational objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics Expertise: At least three years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, with a deep focus on Dynamics Order Management is required.
  • eCommerce Implementation: Proven experience in designing and implementing eCommerce solutions using Microsoft Dynamics, particularly in the public sector.
  • Agile Methodology Experience: Demonstrated experience leading and delivering projects in Agile environments, with the ability to manage large-scale, complex projects.

Desired Skills

  • Power Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly in customizing apps to enhance eCommerce functionalities.
  • Security Expertise: Understanding of Dynamics security patterns and their application in public sector eCommerce solutions.

Security Clearance

  • SC Clearance: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, as the role involves handling sensitive public sector information.
