DV Site Reliability Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled DV cleared Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with experience in Linux and DevOps technologies, ideally with a strong background in cloud, to join a dynamic team within the defence sector. • Designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable infrastructure and services using Linux-based systems.
• Collaborating with development teams to enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Automating operational processes and workflows to optimise efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with security and governance standards in a classified environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Active DV clearance is essential.
• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and associated tooling.
• Experience with containerisation (eg, Docker) and orchestration tools (eg, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) is highly advantageous.

Beneficial Skills:

• Previous experience within the defence or government sectors.
• Knowledge of security best practices and protocols (eg, IAM, encryption).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
