Job Description

St Albans Education Group (STAEG) is a group of vibrant schools supported by a diverse and enthusiastic community of staff, pupils, parents, alumni and friends. The Principal is now seeking to appoint a high-calibre Director of Marketing, Admissions and Engagement to provide strong strategic and operational leadership at an exciting stage in the Group's development.

STAEG has three member schools: STAHS Senior, STAHS Prep, and Stormont School. St Albans High School for Girls (STAHS) is a top-ranked independent girls' school in the UK, educating around 1,150 pupils aged 4 to 18. The Senior School in St Albans has about 820 girls aged 11 to 18, while the Prep School in Wheathampstead has around 330 girls aged 4 to 11. Stormont School in Potters Bar educates about 140 girls aged 4 to 11 and provides a strong foundation for pupils continuing to secondary education at STAHS and other leading schools.

As a key contributor to group-wide decision-making, the Director of Marketing, Admissions and Engagement will be an important member of the Executive Team, with overall responsibility for developing and implementing an innovative and successful group-wide strategy for marketing, pupil recruitment, and engagement with the wider community, including parents, alumni, and prep and other partner schools.

The successful candidate will work in an engaged and constructive way with the Principal to ensure the brand message is convincing and aligns with the agreed aims for STAEG.
