Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the financial, physical, and digital infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of both staff and participants.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and senior stakeholders to deliver on the organisation's strategic objectives.
• Manage and develop high-performing teams within Finance and operational departments
• Provide regular financial and analysis to support decision-making by the Board and SLT.
• Lead on risk management, including working with auditors and managing financial and operational risk.
• Oversee treasury management, budgeting, cash flow management, and long-term forecasting.
• Support the organisation's digital and financial transformation strategy and ensure the effective delivery of IT and premises resources.
• Take the lead in ensuring the organisation's impact on individuals is accurately measured and used to improve offerings.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in financial management, ideally within the education or skills sector.
• Experience working at a senior level, engaging with boards and external stakeholders.
• Expertise in financial and data management systems, GDPR compliance, and managing organisational services.
• A leader who can drive high performance, with a strong track record in team management and development.

• A proactive approach, with the ability to resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience:

• A relevant accountancy qualification (eg, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA).
• Knowledge of the funding, regulatory, and legislative environment in the sector.
• Experience in leading or supporting digital and financial transformation initiatives.
