Together with a team of Enterprise Architects, you will help shape the future of the clients Technology. With your engineering mindset, you will modernize existing technologies and integrate new ones such as GenAI, Cloud, and Data. This will enhance the resiliency and security of the client Beyond, with the ultimate goal of earning the love of our customers.

Job summary

• You play a crucial role in determining how all IT infrastructure components should be connected and work together. These components include Hardware, system software, application platforms, technical services, etc., in an on-premises data center or Azure cloud environment. You ensure that the introduction of new technology and the gradual phasing out of older technology happens with minimal risk to the organization.
• In line with our mission "We guide you from Vision to Realisation, you will contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for various technology topics in the Infrastructure domain and translate these into a concrete roadmap. You will not only consider new market trends within technology but also processes and people.
• You will help IT colleagues become more independent and grow in the field of solution architecture, supporting them in their projects. You will respect, promote, optimize, and contribute to our architecture governance, such as architecture principles, processes, documentation, and modeling.

Prerequisites

• Strong communication skills. You easily adapt your communication to the changing context, your audience, and with an open view of diversity
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in translating a Technology strategy into (architectural) roadmaps as an enterprise Infrastructure Architect
• Experience in stakeholder management, including development teams, senior management, and business stakeholders
• Experience in ITIL or IT4IT, UML, and ArchiMate is a minimum requirement, but Mainframe, data center technologies, and Azure cloud are also familiar to you
• Knowledge of workplace infrastructure and software is a plus
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch or French and English
