DevOps Engineer- Gen AI for Cyber Security
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Employment Type: 12 month initial, 5 days on site.
Rate: 550-600 Euros per day.

About the role:

We are seeking DevOps Engineer to leverage Generative AI technology to enhance the workflow of security penetration testers. You will be comfortable working with development teams to identify potential issues in both development and production environments. This person will join an agile service team focused on daily production service delivery and application deployment, taking a key role in infrastructure planning, engineering, environment design and management for commercial and custom software applications. This role is ideal for a Consultant with experience in Generative AI application design and implementation, particularly in DevOps capacity or technology integration role.

Responsibilities include:

Collecting information to analyse and evaluate existing or proposed systems.

Research, plan, install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade operating systems, applications, hardware and software interfaces.

Apply an understanding of network fundamentals and security best practices with the ability to understand how the infrastructure communicates as a low level and how the system functions at a high level.

Must have a troubleshooting/problem solving mindset.

Required Skills

Experience in supporting infrastructure in a large enterprise environment

Production engineering/operations experience (minimum 5-7 years)

Strong experience as a Linux Systems Admin/Engineer with the ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis

Familiarity with MS-SQL, Oracle and how to perform basic queries if needed.

Good understanding of Change and Incident Management processes

Understanding of Agile projects, roles, and development support

Be able to run and bring to completion multiple competing projects.

Detail oriented work ethic.

Aptitude to independently learn new technologies

Understanding and ability to use Monitoring tools

Strong written & verbal skills combined with a passion for collaboration and teamwork.

Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering solutions that meet business needs.

A strong understanding and experience with containerization technologies like OpenShift or Docker.

A good understanding of Windows Servers and Web based applications using IIS.

Strong Scripting skills for automation with Visual Basic, Perl, python or PowerShell and BASH in a DevOps environment

Good understanding of various protocols such as HTTP/https/tcp/SMTP/SNMP/DNS

Hands on experience using CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Ansible, Subversion, Git, JIRA and Confluence is a major plus
