Your new role
As a Development Management Planner, you will:
- Independently handle a variety of complex and high-profile planning applications, pre-application advice requests, and correspondence.
- Ensure robust and transparent decision-making within tight timeframes, delivering well-reasoned officer recommendations.
- Guide junior planning officers, helping them acquire the skills and knowledge to be accountable in dealing with technical and interpersonal challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and proactively approach changes in legislation.
- Work with various teams to ensure compliance and successful planning outcomes while managing budgeting constraints.
