As a Dev Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued effectiveness of a critical fraud detection tool. This tool, which is undergoing retro engineering to ensure future viability, will be migrated to the new cloud environment. Your expertise will help thoroughly understand the tool's functionalities, assist in its migration, and contribute to the development of its new version.
Key Responsibilities
- Document essential functionalities of the current tool.
- Define the development plan and establish acceptance criteria based on requirements.
- Support the migration of the tool to new environments.
- Develop new functionalities in the tool when required.
- Apply agile and development best practices to daily tasks.
- Refine features into actionable tasks using your technical expertise.
- Share insights and improvement suggestions to enhance the squad's backlog.
- Align with and adhere to the squad's defined priorities.
- Collaborate with peers to deliver exceptional service.
Skills and Experience Required
- Higher Education qualifications.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Access, Visual Basic, and SQL.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, explain, and drive change.
