We're seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a brand new nursery in Gerrards Cross. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's ready to take on more responsibility, support the Nursery Manager, and make a real impact in a vibrant, child-centred setting.

In this role, you'll be central to the day-to-day operations-leading by example, motivating your team, and ensuring the highest standards of care and early education. From compliance and curriculum delivery to staff development and parent partnerships, you'll help shape a positive and purposeful learning environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Development

  • Support, mentor, and inspire a passionate team
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews

Operational Excellence

  • Help manage the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
  • Maintain outstanding care, safety, and compliance standards
  • Step in confidently to lead in the Manager's absence

Admin & Financial Oversight

  • Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and fee management
  • Monitor targets and KPIs to ensure nursery success

Family & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Ensure families feel informed, involved, and supported

Culture & Wellbeing

  • Promote a positive, professional, and caring culture
  • Champion staff wellbeing and encourage ongoing development

You'll Bring
  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years
  • Experience as a Room Leader or Deputy Manager
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards
  • Confident leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A hands-on, proactive approach and a passion for early years education
