We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join our client's team, a leading care home specialising in neurological care and physical conditions.The Nursing Home provides exceptional care to individuals with complex neurological conditions and physical disabilities. The team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of their residents, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care in a warm, supportive environment.Requirements:
  • Nurse qualified (NMC Registered - RN/RGN/RMN)
  • Previous experience in a Deputy Nurse Manager or Clinical Lead Nurse role, preferably within a care home setting.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in clinical assessments, developing support plans with detailed risk assessments.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a nursing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and resident-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of care.
  • Lead and manage the nursing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring excellent clinical practice.
  • Conduct and oversee comprehensive clinical assessments for new and existing residents, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Develop, review, and implement tailored support plans with detailed risk assessments, ensuring safety and quality of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, CQC standards, and best practice guidelines.
  • Provide hands-on clinical care when necessary, acting as a role model for best practices.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to support a holistic approach to care.
