Location- London/Sheffield (Hybrid) UK
Duration:- 12 Months

Project Summary
The Client has a requirement to onboard a DDI consultant for a 12-month contract to upgrade various components within our internal DOI estate to the latest supported versions as part of the wider DDI evergreening project.
The project scope includes, but not limited to, upgrading DNS from 6.,3 to 6.4, upgrading the operating system from RHEL to Rocky Linux v9 and upgrading DHCP from v6 to v7 across our Cygna VitalQIP & AMM estate.
The following high level responsibilities of the consultant, are as follows:
- The consultant's responsibilities include the planning, scheduling of changes using ServiceNow and the implementation of upgrades both withing core v working hours and outside core hours.
- Where a change is implemented outside of core working hours, the consultant can take lieu time on a like for like basis eg 1 hour worked = 1 hour in lieu. There is no overtime payable as part of the project.
- The consultant is expected to complete a minimum of 8 changes in month 1 followed by a minimum of 3 changes per week until the end of the contracted period. Exceptions will apply where Client has imposed Service Protection periods limiting the ability to execute changes.
- The consultant is expected to work using agile r methodologies, attending daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review deretrospectives and participate in backlog refinements.
- The consultant is expected to have an expert understanding of DNS & DHCP and have the ability to assess risks including downstream user or service impact and to manage these risks as part of change planning & post change verification.
- The consultant must utilize Client's standard Method Of Procedures (MOP's) change implementation on all changes.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Deliverables must be completed in accordance with the specifications outlined in the sow.
- All deliverables must meet the agreed-upon quality standards and performance criteria .
- Documentation accompanying each deliverable/change must be comprehensive, clear, and in accordance with the formatting guidelines provided.
- The deliverables must comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- The deliverables must meet the performance metrics outlined in the sow, including frequency of delivery.
