This is a.South Holland/Remote* based role with an excellent immediate start within a major Europeans Institution working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database & Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team in a major European Institution. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex database and Business Intelligence solutions. You will work closely with management and project managers to understand their requirements and deliver innovative solutions that provide valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modelling and Development:
• Design and implement data warehouse solutions using Data Vault, Kimball, and Inmon methodologies.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data.
• Develop and deploy SSIS ETL packages to automate data integration processes.
• Configure and deploy SSAS (multidimensional and tabular) cubes to enable advanced analytics.
• Business Intelligence and Reporting:
• Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs.
• Configure and customize reporting tools like Tableau or PowerBI to create interactive dashboards and reports.
• Project Management:
• Work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Follow Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, to manage project tasks and prioritize deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SSIS and SSAS server configuration.
• Knowledge of PowerBI on-premise development and configuration.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (eg, TFS).

Experience:

• 9+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Vault modelling and implementation.
• 12+ years of experience writing Microsoft T-SQL code.
• 3+ years of experience with Flyway deployment.
• 12+ years of experience with SSAS (multidimensional + tabular) development and deployment.
• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SSIS.
• 12+ years of experience in database dimensional modelling (Kimball + Inmon).
• 6+ years of experience in configuring reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with data modelling techniques, such as Data Vault.
• Expertise in Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
