Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Data scientist/bioinformation to work remote for my client, daily rate is £560 a day outside IR35 initially 6 months

Essential
Bachelor's and advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, or a related field with a strong academic record.

Technical Expertise
Strong problem-solving skills in bioinformatics and data science.
Extensive experience in biomarker development and clinical trial data analysis.
Proficiency in statistical methods (eg, survival analysis) and machine learning techniques (eg, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting).

Development Skills
Expertise in Python and SQL (required), familiarity with Nextflow for scalable pipeline development.
Experience in developing workflows for automated data analysis.
Strong data wrangling and integration skills.
