Job Description

Data Science Specialist with 5-10 years' experience required to join a leading client based in Switzerland.

This is a nearshore role; candidates are required to be based in a European county.

Contract duration: 12 months +

Daily rate 405 CHF - 510 CHF depending on experience

Essential skills & experience:

  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, data science or related field.
  • Proficient in Python and associated machine learning and data manipulation libraries.
  • In-depth understanding of web analytics, digital marketing metrics, and tools.
  • Strong understanding of ROI and performance modelling for marketing and customer analytics.
  • Expertise in clustering, classification, and attribution modelling techniques.
  • Proven expertise in time series analysis for trend detection, forecasting, and anomaly detection in business metrics.
  • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and entity recognition.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and architecture.
  • Familiar with CI/CD frameworks and automated deployment practices.
  • Knowledge of provisioning of data APIs.
  • Skilled in using data visualization tools
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, effectively communicate findings, and integrate data-driven insights into business processes.

Duties:

  • The Data Science Specialist provides the required expertise to design and deploy data products in the Enterprise Analytics Platform, using an interactive/agile approach.
  • Provide on-demand analyses related to customer behaviour, lead generation, and marketing impact.
  • Conduct visitor clustering and customer value prediction to optimize targeting and engagement.
  • Develop attribution models to assess lead sources and conversion metrics.
  • Create predictive models for customer lifetime value, engagement, and retention.
  • Design unique value proposition proofs and help qualify leads by remodelling feedback data.
  • Support customer and financial product modelling to personalize lead generation efforts.
  • Implement automation in lead generation and customer segmentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders across marketing, CRM, and digital analytics teams to ensure alignment.
  • Translate complex analytical results into actionable insights for business users.
  • Collaborate to define and prioritize data features for modelling tasks, providing MDM and CRM support where necessary.
  • Define relevant features for Datamodelling and collaborate with the project team in their implementation.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Deliverable:

  • Issue reports managed via JIRA.
  • Detailed reports on lead generation effectiveness and customer insights.
  • Advanced models and analyses focused on customer value prediction, lead attribution, and feedback qualification.
  • Visual documentation, including data flow diagrams, model architecture charts, and process maps.
  • Time series models for trend analysis and forecasting in customer engagement metrics.
  • API endpoints for data provisioning, personalization, and dynamic content retrieval.
  • Comprehensive dashboards for journey tracking, funnel analysis, and visitor clustering.
  • Reproducible experiments and predictive models implemented in Jupyter notebooks.
  • Model and data cataloguing documentation for reproducibility and audit purposes.
