Job Description

Data Modelling Roles, £20-25 per hour (umbrella rate) Various locations - Minimum 6-month contract

We are currently working with a prestigious public sector client who have vacancies for Data Specialists to work for a minimum of 6 months.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE OR BE ELIGIBLE FOR SC SECURITY CLEARANCE

What will you be doing;

  • Work with the Research Division to complete a training plan for new members
  • Work on the end-to-end production of documentation leading on code and process to ensure quality
  • Communicate with stakeholders, requesting and providing data in line with timetables.
  • Undertake analysis to process, analyse and quality assure data.
  • Be involved in transitioning the Population Datasets from the Research Division to the wider team.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Ability to carry out data processing tasks that contribute to a statistical publication.
  • A good understanding of statistical modelling methods.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Able to carry out pieces of analytical work, such as identifying key trends and movements in data.
  • Proficient with R coding and Python, Demography knowledge, Bayesian methods or TMB (Template Model Builder)

These roles can be based in Edinburgh, Hampshire, South Wales or North East England
