Data Engineer - Belgium

On behalf of on our key partners RED now has a new opportunity for an Data Engineer for a migration project for 9 month+ contract.

• Job title: Data Engineer

• Start date: 01/04/2025

• Duration: 9 months + extension up to 2 years

• Location: Hybrid role. 2 days onsite in Antwerp, rest remote.

• Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English

Job Description:

This is a preparation for the migration from On-premises to Cloud.

The ideal candidate will be in charge of:

• Create solutions based on analyses.
• Building a data model to support the solution.
• Performing impact analyses and drawing up technical analyses for coding.
• Maintaining the documentation, processes and tracking the evolutions in order to contribute to the development of the team.

Skills:

• The ideal can should have at least 5 years of experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Data Vault and 3NF modelling.
• Good knowledge of dimensional modelling, SQL, ODI.
• High seniority in DWH environments.
• Experience in banking industry
• Experience in Tortoise SVN and/or GIT.
• Experience of Oracle Exadata, Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management or OBI.
• ETL automation experience is a bonus.
