Job Description

Data Analyst - AWS, ETL, DATA WAREHOUSE, (PYTHON/JAVA or Scala), DATA MODELING

Business level German & English speaking (C1/Fluent is required)

Location: Remote from anywhere in Europe

An experienced Data Analyst is required for a long-term project with a fast-growing company.

  • Minimum of 8 years experience delivering Data Engagements using Agile with clearly demonstrable business outcomes Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Glue and Lambda, to develop and optimize data pipelines.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs and solve problems
  • Ability to assess stakeholder needs to improve customer experience, show resilience under pressure and provide best-in-class solutions Delivery-focused, with the ability to meet agreed deadlines and deliver high-quality output
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a data integration-related role,
  • ETL processes and data warehousing principles
  • A strong understanding and experience in key Datamodelling methodologies, techniques and concepts (dimensional modelling, entity relationship modelling, logical & physical models)
  • Experience with leading BI reporting tools Proficient in SQL, ETL framework, MSBI or similar technology. Strong communicator, both written and verbal and comfortable working with senior management; ability to articulate data concepts, problem statements and solutions to non-technical stakeholders Should be able to lead multiple engagements for the client.
  • Drive the delivery of governance activities Self-starter demonstrating high energy levels, flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to learn Ability to build and maintain advisory relationships with senior managers, gravitas to negotiate and challenge conventional thinking Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment, proven ability to handle multiple outputs at once Displaying positive behaviours when working with others and creating a professional and trusting relationship with a wide range of people
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis or similar education and work experience
