Job Description

Join us as aData Analyst, Financial Crime

  • Take ona new challenge in a cutting edge data team, in which you'llcontribute to the analysis of complex bank, franchise or functiondata to identify business issues andopportunities
  • We'll look to you to provide highquality analytical input to help develop and implement innovativeprocesses and resolve problems across thebank
  • This is a hands on role in whichyou'll hone your data analysis expertise and gain valuableexperience in a dynamic area of ourbusiness
  • You'll work from home some of thetime, but you'll also spend a minimum two days per week workingfrom the office
  • This role is available for aperiod of 12months

Whatyou'll do

As a Data Analyst,you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high qualitybusiness solutions. You'll be performing data extraction, storage,manipulation, processing and analysis, alongside developing andperforming standard queries to ensure data quality and identifydata inconsistencies and missingdata.

Day-to-day, you'll alsobe:

  • Collecting, profiling and mappingappropriate data to use in new or existing solutions as well as forongoing data activities
  • Identifying anddocumenting data migration paths and processes, standardising datanaming, data definitions and modelling
  • Helpingto interpret customer needs and turning them into functional ordata requirements and processmodels
  • Building and maintainingcollaborative partnerships with key businessstakeholders

Theskills you'll need
  • We're looking forsomeone with competent experience of Tableau and SQL and other dataanalysis tools and delivering data analysis and reporting in atechnology or IT function
  • Ability to liaise andset expectations with a range of stakeholder groups andlevels

We'll alsolook for:

  • A working understanding ofSnowflake and AWS technologies.
  • Knowledge ofDataGrip and other data tooling
  • An in-depthunderstanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple datadomains
  • A background in delivering researchbased on qualitative and quantitative data across a range ofsubjects
  • Excellent communication andinfluencing skills
  • Working knowledge of theAgile framework
