Data Analyst - Remote - 6 months - £450-500 per day (outside IR35)

We are actively seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL, Azure, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric skills to join our client on an initial 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out complex data analysis and cleansing as well as Datamodelling, with a focus on providing clear and useful insights to management. You will be working closely with senior stakeholders in order to understand key data requirements to be delivered.

You will also be responsible for developing and automating ETL pipelines and data workflows, using Data Factory and other Azure tools. The role will also involve building complex dashboards, using Power BI. There will be a focus on ensuring scalability and continuous improvement, as well as the maintenance of detailed documentation around data mappings, process flows etc.

The role will be primarily remote with one day per fortnight on-site at one of their offices around the UK.

Key requirements:

• Extensive Data Analysis experience, including working with ETL pipelines
• Report development experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
• Azure Data Factory and Data Lake skills with the ability to create scalable data solutions
• Excellent SQL skills, such as complex query building
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to take business requirements and create complex data solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Scripting experience (Python preferred)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects
• Exposure to data governance and compliance principles
