Job Description

The Data Analyst is a key member of my client Asset Management Data Office reporting to the Chief Data Officer. The team consists of first line of defence Data Governance and Privacy officers whose vision is to ensure Enterprise Data is well understood, trusted, roles and responsibilities defined and treated as an enterprise asset.

Description

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations

  • Ensure operational effectiveness of data discovery, classification and remediation procedures

  • Assess and manage risks related to data privacy

  • Coordinate and deliver privacy training, communications and general awareness of policy implications to those with responsibilities for data and educate them on their responsibilities with respect to data and how to affect them in line with procedure.

  • Work closely with privacy related initiatives to provide expertise and industry best practice on data privacy capabilities, tooling and remediation.

  • Assess and determine most suitable tooling to perform activities. Administer monitoring and remediation activities using these tools.

  • Gather data, perform analysis, draft reports and dashboard to communicate on goals, progress and any risks/issues.
