The University of Cambridge Park Farm is looking to recruit a Dairy Craft Worker to join the team on the modern high yielding progressive unit.

The 220 pedigree Holstein cow herd is cubicle housed, TMR fed, AYR calving and milked through 4 Lely Robots.

The role will focus on rearing of the dairy replacements, relief TMR feeding, breeding, health and welfare of the dairy herd. We have excellent handling facilities and have invested heavily in cow comfort. Reporting to the Dairy Farm Manager, you will be able to demonstrate you are a team player with a 'can do' attitude and have experience in a similar role.

You will have a proactive approach, be a good communicator, able to work to a high standard showing attention to detail and look to build on the excellent results already achieved. Full UK driver's licence is required.

In return we offer a competitive salary, weekend work as well as robot alarms and night checks is required on a rota basis and on site accommodation could be provided.
