Job Description
Cybersecurity Consultant - Warsaw - 10months +
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Cybersecurity Consultant for an exciting project with a global FMCG client of ours.
Requirements for the Cybersecurity Consultant are:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity is required.
- Proven track record in developing, implementing, and managing security awareness programs to educate and empower employees, reducing the risk of human error and enhancing the overall security culture within the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber risks to ensure the protection of organisational assets.
- Proficient in ensuring adherence to relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards (eg, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), maintaining compliance across all security practices and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface efficiently with employees, senior leadership, and external partners, clients, and customers.
Job responsibilities:
- Identify, estimate, and evaluate cybersecurity risks within your scope and ensure proper mitigation actions are implemented.
- Provide support to IT and Business teams, particularly project managers, on all aspects of cybersecurity throughout project life cycles.
- Review the security of third parties and ensure appropriate cybersecurity requirements are included in contracts and appendices.
- Make recommendations and track action plans to completion.
- Ensure all security steps (risk analysis, contract review, penetration testing, configuration checks, code review, etc.) are completed prior to project Go Live.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and mandatory standards (eg, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Ensure, in partnership with internal communication, Cybersecurity awareness initiatives are properly deployed on your perimeter.
- Enforce and control the correct application of the Group's Cybersecurity framework.
- Monitor cybersecurity KPIs and controls.
- Ensure all assets and services within your scope are secured through the implementation of best-in-class security measures.
- Act as the IT point of contact to lead communications with internal and external auditors and ensure IT security compliance in your region.
- Ensure non-compliances, vulnerabilities, or any other security weaknesses are remediated in a timely manner.
Contract details:
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Till the end of year (Possibility of extension)
- Location: Warsaw 50% on site
