An International IT firm who are the premium provider of IT services to organisations in the financial services industry and already have a massive presence in the local market are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the Finance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading global firm with exciting expansion plans in progress.

Your new role

• Review and verify invoices and check requests.
• Sort, code and match invoices & set invoices up for payment.
• Enter and upload invoices into the system.
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare analysis of accounts.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding possible enquiries.
• Produce monthly reports.
• Assist with month end closing.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and general accounting procedures.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software.
• Proficient in data entry and management.
• 1-2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Experience processing high volumes of transactions and invoices, ideally in multiple currencies.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience of dealing with multi-site/departmental reporting.
• Experience of Month End procedures.
