Credit and Rates Clearing - Business Analyst/Project Manager

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Credit and Rates Clearing - Business Analyst/Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract based in London, Marylebone.

Purpose of the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead Client Clearing risk IT initiatives, acting as the clearing risk platform liaison for the Derivatives Execution and Clearing (DEC).

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Credit and Rates Clearing - Business Analyst/Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Defining and maintaining the risk IT platform for clearing.
• Representing risk IT at steering committees.
• Communicating the roadmap of risk clearing deliveries.
• Ensuring project quality, timeliness, and cost management.
• Producing and managing project plans, resources, and risks.
• Tracking and reporting progress, escalating issues as needed.
• Defining testing plans and user sign-off criteria.
• Capturing requirements as user stories and work with scrum teams.
• Acting as SME in clearing risk platform topics.
• Performing functional testing before release.

What we require from the Credit and Rates Clearing - Business Analyst/Project Manager:

• Proven ability to manage IT development projects (at least 5 years' experience managing projects in Front Office environment) with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of derivatives clearing and products (especially rates and credit).
• Experience of Agile development practices.

Desirable criteria includes:

• Clearing experience (desirable but not compulsory).
• Financial/banking/regulated environment experience (desirable).
