The Role:
We are currently looking for passionate and flexible Cover Teachers to work in secondary schools across Telford. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and seeking a flexible working arrangement. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior to promote a focused and respectful learning environment.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures at all times.
- Adapt to teaching various subjects and year groups as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary or primary school.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and subjects.
- A current DBS check or willingness to complete one.
