We providebespoke advice in all areas of taxation,helping our clients to navigatethe complexities of tax codes, often inmultiple areas of sector jurisdictions, andto help them ensure they are fulfilling alltheir obligations and paying the correct amountof tax. In this way we help them to manage anarea of significant financialand reputational risk and to make properlyinformed decisions about their tax positionwhether they are an individual, a business owner ora corporate organisation. Wealso help clients resolve any disputes theyhave with the tax authorities as swiftlyas possible.

About therole

Your role as AssociateDirector in our National Tax Reporting team will include:

• • Building long-termrelationships across a portfolio of clientswhich you will have responsibility for managing.
  • Leading the Milton Keynes-based Tax Reporting team,providing guidance, coaching and training to junior staff membersto help them maximise their career opportunities.
  • Reviewing andapproving corporation tax computations and tax accounting,as well as undertaking some tax assurancereviews. Involved in ad-hoc advisory work that flowsnaturally from your Reporting responsibilities.
  • Negotiating and raising timetables and fees andbeing responsible for WIP management onyour portfolio of clients.
  • Proactively talkingto clients about tax opportunities whichmay be relevant to them, andworking with the tax partners, andwider tax team to deliver on suchwork.
  • Being an active member to nationalTax Reporting Team, ensure national procedures are rolled out andfully adopted in Milton Keynes.

What are we lookingfor?

• Extensive experience ofworking with a portfolio of clients todeliver on annual Tax Reporting requirements.
• Demonstrate broad and strongtechnical tax knowledge and experience.
• Works effectively as part of a larger team, whoproactively manages all team members.
• Broad experience of managing the financialson clients, setting timetables delivering on budgetsand negotiating fees with clients.
• Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients (andideally across other service lines).
• Willingness to take on leadership roles both withinMilton Keynes and across the wider Tax reporting team as we foreseethis being a key senior leadership role for Forvis Mazars in thenear future.
