Join our client's dynamic Commercial team as a Contract Manager specialising in People and Professional Services. This pivotal role involves developing strategic supplier relationships and leading contract management activities to enhance service delivery for the public sector.
In this agile position, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Category to implement effective Strategic Supplier Relationship Management across a national portfolio. Your focus will be on delivering value for money and meeting the needs of modern customers, such as policing agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract and supplier management meetings, proactively managing risks.
- Offer pragmatic solutions to stakeholder needs while nurturing effective networks.
- Support national projects by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CIPS qualified to Level 4 and a minimum of 3 years in a commercial environment (commissioning, procurement, contract management).
- Willingness to pursue Government Commercial Function (GCF) accreditation.
- Proven track record in managing strategic relationships and successful contract management in public or private sectors.
- Strong skills in budget and resource management, with a solid understanding of procurement processes.
