Job Title: Contracts Manager - Shop Fitting ProjectLocation: Litchfield, UKSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + Car AllowanceJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a high-profile shop fitting project in Litchfield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management within the shop fitting industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contracts. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that the project is delivered on time and within budget. Your role will also involve identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate records of all contract-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage all contracts related to the shop fitting project.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters, ensuring clear and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related correspondence.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any contract-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure contract specifications are met, and project milestones are achieved.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: experience in contract management, preferably within the construction or shop fitting industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency in contract management software such as Microsoft Projects
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of contract law and industry regulations.
