Your new role as a Manufacturing Engineer will involve working with the Manufacturing Process Engineering Team to develop and improve existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and implementing efficient and cost-effective production methods for major subcomponents and final assembly of machines. You will coordinate with production, engineering, and quality assurance departments to address manufacturing issues, implement best practice standard work on the shop floor, and manage BOMs and material movement. Additionally, you will develop ergonomic processes based on Lean Manufacturing principles, provide production support, and oversee new product introductions and production launches.What you'll need to succeed
You should have an organised approach to work, the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative, and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks. Good customer service and communication skills are essential, along with experience in a manufacturing or production environment. CNC programming and nesting experience would be beneficial.What you'll get in return
