Senior Manager Global Business Development & Licensing (f/m/d)

What you can expect

As a Senior Manager in Business Development & Licensing (m/f/d), you will play a key role in identifying and negotiating licensing opportunities, particularly in the OTC (over-the-counter) product segment. You will evaluate external projects from both a pharmaceutical and business perspective, leading strategic partnerships. This position gives you the chance to shape strategic projects in a dynamic, international environment and significantly influence the company's future.

  • You will independently identify and analyze global licensing opportunities, particularly OTC products
  • You will, together with various departments, evaluate on pharmaceutical matters and work on external projects
  • You will conduct economic evaluations of projects and derive actionable recommendations
  • You will identify market trends, opportunities, and competitors in the pharmaceutical sector
  • You will establish new partnerships, maintain existing alliances, lead independent contract negotiations, and manage contractual relationships
  • You will represent the company at international trade shows and licensing forums to expand the partner network
Who we are looking for
  • You have a university degree, ideally in pharmacy or a natural science, complemented by business management knowledge
  • You have over 5 years of experience in Business Development & Licensing, with proven success in licensing negotiations
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of the European OTC market
  • You have experience in evaluating pharmaceutical projects
  • You have an impressive track record of completed licensing deals and are skilled in negotiations, particularly for licensing and dossier purchase agreements
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have a good command of German
