Salary/Rate: 400-600 CHF per day (DOE)

Job Type: 6 or 12 month initial freelance consultant contract

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Compliance Screening Consultant to join their team for a six or twelve month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for conducting negative news searches to support compliance and screening activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the client's efforts in enhancing their compliance and risk management processes.

* Conduct comprehensive negative news searches across various sources and platforms, focusing on potential risks in account opening and periodic review.
* Focus on news relevant to financial crimes, sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and other negative associations.
* Collaborate closely with compliance and account review teams to ensure proper risk mitigation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate documentation of findings and provide clear, concise reports to relevant stakeholders.
* Stay up to date on compliance-related regulations and sanctions lists, ensuring accurate application in negative news searches.
* Support and assist with ongoing compliance projects and initiatives as required.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Fluency in Hebrew (written and spoken) is essential.
* Previous experience in compliance, screening, or financial crime prevention is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify and assess risk-related news.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and accurately.
* Knowledge of Swiss financial regulations and practices is an advantage.

Additional Requirements:

* Must be based in Switzerland or able to travel 4-5 days per week to Switzerland.
