Job Description
A permanent Management Accountant job paying up to £60k for a successful manufacturing business in Evesham.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and the chance to work for a reputable SME entity of a larger, globally recognised Group. Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are currently supporting an excellent food manufacturing business based in Evesham with the recruitment of a Commercial Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will be a key part of the management team and be responsible for controlling the day-to-day operations of the plant, supporting across key financial areas and acting as a business partner to a range of stakeholders throughout the company.
Key duties:
- Monthly management reporting with supporting analysis
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Business partnering with key internal departments (sales, supply chain, production etc.) to help drive financial performance
- Analyse production activity and performance
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Cashflow management and monitoring
- Ownership of the product costing process and supporting with new product development
- Monitoring of costs, variances, supply chain costs and G&A costs
- Support colleagues in Capex requests and investments follow-up
- Qualified/part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Experience of managing day-to-day processes and ensuring relevant controls are in place
- Manufacturing background and comfortable working in a fast-moving business (costing experience highly advantageous)
- Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships
- Highly proficient with Excel (XLookUps, VLookUps, Pivot Tables) and data analysis/manipulation
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage)
