Part-time Cleaner required at HMP Winchester - Monday to Friday 28 hours per week, hours can be flexible.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available to join HMP Winchester as a cleaner working as part of a third-party company. This company looks after all the maintenance work within this prison.

Your new role
We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner to work at HMP Winchester, which is a local Category B adult men's prison. The role will be to clean communal areas around the prison (offices, meeting rooms etc.) and will NOT involve cleaning any wings or cells.
The hours will be Monday-Friday 28 hours per week on the following working pattern: Monday-Thursday 6 hours per day, Friday-4 hours, flexible start time from 7:30am-9am, making this the ideal position for anyone looking for a job to fit around school times.

This is currently an ongoing position with no set end date.

Pay rate: £12.50 per hour plus hourly holiday pay, paid weekly every Friday in arrears.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working as a cleaner is necessary, and before starting you will need to pass full prison vetting, which can take around 6 weeks to complete.
