Clean Water Network Modeller/Engineer

Hays are currently recruiting a Clean Water Modeller to be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
We are working in partnership with a world-leading design, engineering and project management organisation dedicated to engineering a better future for everyone.
The company is committed to delivering end to end service to their clients across the whole life cycle from Capital, Consulting, Decommissioning, Engineering and Design, Operations and Maintenance, Project and Program management up to Project Delivery.
Your new role
As a Clean Water Modeller, you will be working with the Asset Planning and Solutions Team.Responsibilities:

  • Designing of water supply networks and trunk mains
  • Undertaking feasibility studies
  • Building and calibrating network models
  • Using network models for planning, operational and design purposes
  • Management of Detailed Zonal Studies delivery, Pressure Management and DMA Design
  • Supervision of report writing and checking and review of outputs

  • What you'll need to succeed
    To be successful for the Clean Water Modeller role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:
  • BSc/BEng/MEng degree level: geography, GIS, Science, engineering related subject equivalent considered with appropriate professional qualifications at the senior levels.
  • Technician roles require HNC and HND level qualifications in similar subjects.
  • Experience with SYNERGI, INFOWORKS WS, EPANET, Infowater and other modelling software.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
  • A valid UK driving licence
