About The Role
At Ark John Archer, we are looking to recruit an inspirational Class Teacher who will be a motivational role model to our pupils to help them make rapid academic progress and enhance their social, emotional and cultural understanding.
In this role, you will be part of a committed and caring team to deliver the best possible education and offer wider support to the school community to have significant impact on our diverse and friendly pupils and families.
For suitable candidates, there is scope for additional subject leadership responsibilities (including TLR), allowing you to take the next professional steps into leadership by offering expertise and accountability to a subject area.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.

- a genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every pupil.
- a robust awareness of keeping children safe, noticing safeguarding and welfare concerns, and understanding how and when to take appropriate action.
- a belief that every student should have access to an excellent education regardless of background and context.
- a professional outlook, detail orientated and able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- the ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as using own initiative.
- a helpful, positive, patient and caring nature.
- an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
- a flexible attitude towards work and demonstrates sound judgement.
