With a fleet of currently ten river-sea vessels, Amadeus operates tramp shipping for its customers on all short-sea routes throughout Europe.

As a broker, Amadeus also offers logistics solutions for partial and full charters through to supramax shipments.

Chartering Manager (m/f/d) - in Part-Time or Full-Time

Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Negotiate Contracts and Spot Fixtures: You'll be responsible for finding and negotiating contracts and spot fixtures
• Account Management: Take care of existing accounts and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Market Analysis: Analyze freight markets to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities
• Knowledge Sharing: Actively contribute to market intelligence, share insights on shipping trends, and stay updated on regulatory changes
• Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and nurture working relationships with customers, brokers, agents, shipowners, and service providers.
• Independence and Proactivity: Work independently and proactively to achieve team goals.

Qualifications/Profile:

• Successful completion of a commercial apprenticeship in the shipping or freight forwarding sector
• Chartering Experience: Previous experience in chartering with a well-established network is a plus
• Fluent English: strong written and spoken English skills are essential; knowledge of other languages is beneficial
• experienced with MS Office
• a quick grasp of things, an independent working style and a clear customer and service orientation
• Ability to work in a team, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility
