Capital and Project Delivery Manager - £55,000 - £70,000pa - Lichfield

Leading public sector clients now require a Capital and Project Delivery Manager to lead the development and delivery of critical maintenance and improvement projects on a major motorway.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage capital projects up to £5 million, working closely with contractors and senior leadership to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Led the creation of a long-term maintenance strategy, focused on asset condition and traffic projections.
• Oversee the design and implementation of highway improvement projects.
• Present project plans to senior leadership and gain approval.
• Manage the tendering process, contractor onboarding, and project delivery to ensure safety, quality, and budget control.
• Build strong relationships with external partners and ensure all projects align with best practices.

The ideal Capital and Project Delivery Manager must have the following skills/experience:

• Proven Experience working as a Construction Project Manager
• Previously worked in Civil Engineering, ideally on Roads or Highways Project
• Ideally, a bachelor's degree in engineering
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
