Job Description

CAMO Assistant £14.42p/hr PAYE 18 Months RAF Shawbury 40 hours per week Inside IR35 We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAMO Administrative Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative support to the CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) department, contributing to the effectiveness of the MFTS (Military Flying Training System) Ramp-up period. The successful candidate will take over administrative duties to ensure compliance with both legislative and company procedures, ensuring aircraft remain airworthy. Role Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and company procedures to maintain airworthiness of aircraft. • Raise work orders and requisitions in line with company processes. • Support the Planning department by ensuring that all documentation for scheduled maintenance inputs is properly prepared. • Perform administrative tasks such as printing, copying, and scanning of aircraft maintenance records. • Update the company's record management system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. • Maintain and update aircraft and component logbooks. • Liaise effectively with other departments to facilitate smooth operations. • Provide cross-functional support to the CAMO team as directed by the DCAM (Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager). Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Qualification Requirements Essential • High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint. • Solid knowledge and understanding of office procedures and terminology. • Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with internal departments and customers. • Strong literacy and numeracy skills for administrative writing and reporting. • Good verbal communication skills, able to effectively liaise with team members and other departments. • Key organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Desirable • Knowledge of CAA/EASA regulations related to Part CAMO and Part 145 airworthiness and maintenance requirements. Other Requirements • Basic Security Clearance is required due to MoD security requirements. • A Full UK driving license is necessary.
