They are now seeking an IT Systems Development Manager to take ownership of systems development and integration across their business. What you'll do:

As the IT Systems Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's digital transformation journey. Your role will involve taking full ownership of the development and integration of various internal systems that are critical to the business. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions such as operations, production, commercial, and finance. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering efficient solutions that are future-proofed for a fast-paced environment.

. Lead and manage the development of internal systems including planning, design, testing, and implementation of business-critical tools.
. Deliver and maintain effective integration across a range of internal platforms (ERP, production, logistics, commercial, etc.).
. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, define specifications, and deliver practical technical solutions.
. Take ownership of existing systems and processes, ensuring they meet ongoing operational and commercial needs.
. Maintain and develop documentation and system procedures to support consistency and compliance.
. Work closely with external partners where needed to ensure system delivery aligns with internal standards and expectations.
. Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement of existing systems.
. Manage development workload and prioritise based on business needs, working closely with IT leadership.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this IT Systems Development Manager role brings strong experience in application and system development within a commercial or operational setting. You possess hands-on knowledge of system integration, APIs, and have worked extensively with ERP or other business systems. Your structured approach to documentation, change control, and testing ensures that all processes are compliant and consistent. You have proven experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments and can effectively translate business needs into practical technical solutions. Your proactive and self-sufficient nature allows you to independently own and deliver development projects. Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or retail environments would be a bonus.

. Strong experience in application and system development, ideally in a commercial or operational environment.
. Hands-on knowledge of system integration, APIs, and working with ERP or business systems.
. A structured approach to documentation, change control, and testing.
. Experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
. Proactive, self-sufficient and capable of owning and delivering development projects independently.
. Ideally, experience in manufacturing, FMCG or retail environments.
