As part of ourcontinued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for aBusiness Manager to join our close-knit team at Willow Park Schoollocated in Milton Keynes.
About therole
Reporting to the Head of Service,Head Teachers and an active member of the Senior Leadership team,play a key operational role in the management of the service tomeet the school's aims and school improvement plan. Responsible forthe effective management of financial resources, managementinformation systems, ICT, HR, H&S, site management andadministration procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership, management, direction andsupport to the school support staff.
Ensure the school reception is operated in aprofessional manner providing an effective and efficient receptionservice to all customers (internal and external) of theschool.
Ensure schoolsupport staff operate school safeguarding procedures effectively toverify the identity of visitors to the school and the electronicentry system.
Ensure allschool support staff fulfil their duties effectively andtimely.
Ensure effectiveadministration procedures are in place for the effective operationof the school.
Responsiblefor the recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and trainingof school support staff within linemanagement.
Manage theattendance of school support staff and conduct return to workinterviews in line with the company's Positive AttendancePolicy.
Manage theperformance and conduct of school support staff in line with thecompany policies and procedures.
General
To provide an effective, timely andconfidential administration support to the Head of Service, HeadTeachers and Senior Leadership teams asrequired.
To ensure thatrelevant records and documents are kept up to date and are storedsecurely and confidentially at all times.
Operate at all times in accordance with Schoolpolicies and procedures, with particular reference to Safeguarding,Adult/Child Protection, Complaints and Representations andBehaviour Management Policies.
Participate in training and take responsibilityfor personal development.
Participate in team meetings, supervisions andannual reviews in accordance with School policy and the standardsset by the Regulatory Body
