Harvey Nash is partnering with a leading Managed Service and Security provider based in the North of England as they seek a Business Development Manager to join their award-winning sales team in Leeds, on a permanent basis.
The role involves identifying Technology sales opportunities, developing a robust sales pipeline, and managing sales accounts while providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will be expected to consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs.
We are seeking candidates who can work five days a week in the office and/or on client sites. The client's offices offer parking, and as this is a client-facing role, a full driving licence is essential.
I'm looking to speak with candidates who have a strong direct sales background within the IT/Technology sector, are KPI-driven, and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
Your responsibilities:
- Identify and build relationships with prospective clients through:
- Meetings and networking events.
- Telephone, Email, LinkedIn, and warm/cold calling.
- Referrals and inbound leads.
- Convert prospects into active clients, managing the entire sales process from lead generation through to negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with the pre-sales team to present products and solutions to prospective clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the value of the businesses solutions in meeting the clients IT requirements.
- Foster ongoing relationships with accounts and customers, maintaining a pipeline of relevant opportunities to achieve your sales targets.
Salary on offering (dependant on experience) is £40,000-£60,000 with uncapped commission (OTE: £100k-£120k), Company Car Allowance, 25 days holiday, + much more.
