£35,000 - £40,000 + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits

Leading media business seeks a highly motivated, results orientated Business Development Manager to join their sales team, selling their bespoke membership offering to c-suite level clients.

Our client is a leading membership based association and the organisation offers genuinely fantastic scope for fast-track career progression based on results.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in association membership, recruitment, IT sales or within a financial or technology environment.

They will be self-motivated, target-oriented, ready to leap straight in and will be an effective team player. The role will require an intelligent, insight-led sales approach to the levels of membership and the suite of sponsorship opportunities, considering the potential to cross-sell between products.

Profile of Candidate:

  • At least 2 years' sales or business development experience in B2B media, events or publishing in the financial services or technology industry
  • Ideally degree educated
  • The ability to work confidently and thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • A "hunter" mentality and approach to sales
  • High standard of interpersonal skills, professional confidence and tenacity
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented approach with the desire to achieve KPI's and financial rewards
