Are you a dynamic leader passionate about delivering exceptional results and customer service in the agricultural industry? We're seeking a proactive, hands-on Branch Manager to oversee our busy dealership in Dorchester.
Overview:
• Job type: Full-time/Permanent
• Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday plus some Saturday working
• Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 per annum DOE
Responsibilities:
• Overall branch performance, including business plan objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• People, resources, and financial management.
• Profitable growth, employee development, and customer satisfaction.
• Financial performance and KPI achievement.
• Internal and external communication.
• Customer relationship management.
• Sales team support and best practice promotion.
• Health and safety compliance.
• Cross-branch collaboration and process implementation.
• Facility maintenance and security.
• Human resources involvement (hiring, development, evaluation).
• Company values and mission promotion.
Requirements:
• 1+ years as a Branch/Operations Manager (desirable)
• 3+ years as a people manager (Parts/Service/Sales)
• Financial metrics knowledge and operations understanding
• Agricultural industry experience (advantageous)
• John Deere and competitive product familiarity (advantageous)
• Similar industry experience (Construction/commercial vehicle/motor)
• Customer issue resolution skills
• Analytical, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
